I've maintained an active presence on Facebook as it is the most utilized social media platform in our community. Before the #COVID19 pandemic I posted a lot about my community involvement and many of the duties of the office. During my 14 years as Mayor of El Cenizo, I maintained an active hands-on role in the community and my action had direct impact on peoples lives. Now as County Treasurer my entire attention and focus is on fulfilling my constitutional duties and responsibilities of the office and most importantly having direct supervision and hands-on involvement in the functions and operations of the office. From time to time I am able to continue my volunteer and community service activities through my collaboration and partnership with other elected officials and community organizations. Now during the #COVID19 pandemic I have focused many of my posts to ensuring that vital information is communicated to help and assist with stopping the spread and ensuring that I do my part in ensuring that health authority guidelines are reached by as many people as the information can reach. Moving forward I plan to continue sharing information prevalent to the Corona Virus but also incorporate some Messages of Encouragement and Financial Information that can help assist those who receive and welcome it.
